Jared has been a Realtor since 2002 and a licensed Broker since 2005. Customer service is Jared’s #1 priority when it comes to selling real estate. He strives and takes pride in making sure that his clients are 100% satisfied. Jared has a background in the building material industry, as his family owns Cascade Lumber and Manufacturing which his grandfather started over 60 years ago. He specializes primarily new construction and loves working with first-time home buyers. Recently, Jared has been involved in consulting new property investors and helping them see the wealth building potential an opportunities of owning real estate as an investment for future planning. Educating his clients is a big part of where Jared’s heart is.
Jared’s professionalism stems from his educational background, including a Bachelor’s Degree in Administrative Management from Mount Mercy College in Cedar Rapids, IA. He has obtained the coveted Certified Residential Specialist (CRS), Certified Negotiation Expert (CNE), the Graduate of the Realtor Institute (GRI), and Accredited Buyer Representative (ABR) designations. With these designations, Jared strives to continue to improve and expand his customer service and marketing skills to more effectively cater to his clients.
Jared’s wife, Ali Dodds Althoff, is also formally a Realtor with Ruhl&Ruhl REALTORS. They are blessed with 2 sons, Cohen and Kiptyn and Ali homeschools them. They are active in their church and the community and enjoy skiing, biking, “jeeping”, fitness and spending time with their friends and family. Jared’s passion for teaching also has him involved in local bible study and international mission work, primarily in India.
